Universal Health Scare #10: Michelle Malkin Schools Michael Moore

Written by: Uncle Seth The Noble on Friday, June 22nd, 2007

Let’s put aside for a moment the fact that Michael Moore lies on virtually everything he does – what the hell is a 400 pound man doing advising people on their health in the first place?!

Hat tip to Hot Air…good job Michelle!

I have to admit that I lean left in politics but I am terrified of socialized medicine. I pray to god that it never makes it out of committee should such a reform bill receive congressional sponsorship. Far too many Europeans and Canadians make trips to the U.S. to get surgery or MRIs because they don’t want to wait 6 months for treatment. Insurance is expensive as hell, but the tertiary affects of such socialized medicine would be disastrous. The bills may go away but so will the quality and availability of the service. And we can all start paying 40%+ in taxes a year to pay for this nonsense. I shake my heads at the dems about as much as I do with the GOP. I love politics lately… the battle of pleasant smelling bad ideas. It’s liking disguising the smell of dog sh*% with febreeze.

I can’t quite square just who Moore thinks he is. He’s so cocksure, yet the slightest bit of research and he would know he is full of it.

He is as you indicate; just a liar. I find it pretty distressing too that anything he does can be or is categorized under “documentary.”

We’re crossing a very fine line between docs and propaganda with fewer and fewer people knowing the difference.

Joe S.

How many seniors come to Canada from the US to buy their medecine?

The people that can afford to come to the US and need to come to the US are a minority in Canada.

Think about it. Canadians come to US to enjoy the terrific system while there are some US Citizens that can’t even go to the hospital next door…

I believe most of the people advocating against healthcare do so because the level of their healthcare coverage would go down because of that change. But overall, I don’t think we can afford to leave millions of Americans behind, so we should just get on with the program.
