Cap And Trade: The Eight Republican Turncoats That Betrayed The American Worker
The cap and trade climate bill passed the house today by a very narrow margin of 219-212. This bill will hurt the American family by increasing their overall tax burden during a time of deep recession, and put more added pressure on businesses that provide jobs for millions of those same families. H.R. 2454 could have been stopped if not for the betrayal of 8 Republicans that signed on with Pelosi and the Socialist Democrat Party. Here are the names of those turncoat Republicans…
Mary Bono Mack – California 45th District
Mike Castle – Delaware
Mark Kirk – Illinois 10th District
Leonard Lance – New Jersey 7th District
Frank LoBiondo – New Jersey 2nd District
John McHugh – New York 23rd District
Dave Reichert – Washington 8th District
Chris Smith – New Jersey 4th District
Remember these names come the primaries early in 2010, they must be made to pay the price for the 30 pieces of silver that bought them out at the expense of the American worker. I’ll make it my duty come primary season to remind the Republican voters of these districts how in fact these 8 representatives sold them out.
UPDATE: Mary Bono’s betrayal is especially hard for me since she used to be my representative when I lived in California’s 45th district down in Riverside county.
UPDATE II: Video added of Barack Obama proclaiming that under his cap and trade policy that electricity prices would skyrocket.
UPDATE III: Representative John Boehner smacks Henry Waxman a new one. There were 300 pages dropped at 3.09 am the night before, and the Democrats want to accuse him of filibustering the bill?
