Gaza Rally In Westwood Chants Intifada
So much for peace in the Middle East. I joined several of my conservative friends and bloggers today in a counter-protest of a pro-Gaza rally at the Westwood Federal building in Los Angeles. The rally was organized by the communist funded ANSWER coalition. Beside the numerous Palestinian flags and noxious signs, throughout the crowd walked minions of ANSWER looking to sign up useful idiots for the “people’s revolution.” Among the many pictures I took, I include the books they had for sale. What a gruesome reading list you must wade through to hate your country. Of the hours of chants and speeches I heard today, never once did I hear calls for reconciliation and the peace that comes with it. Not once. I heard Intifada chanted a thousand times. Doesn’t that tell you where our partners in the Middle East peace process are focused on?
The highlight of the day was meeting my fellow conservatives that up til now I had only known by Blog Talk Radio broadcasts or blogs. Eric from The Tygrrrr Express was there and on top of his game (I expect he was on news broadcasts tonight, he was being interviewed by several people), while Douglas Gibbs and our pal Gawfer put in a lot of miles following the crowd (Gawfer got a lot of video footage so we’re all looking forward to seeing that). Gary Fouse from Fousesqwauk was on hand, along with Joi and Paul (Prying1), two well known listeners from BTR. A true gem will be the BTR show we called in to during the protest, where Snooper and Loki hosted an hour and a half of live coverage that can be listened to here.
The lowlights were many. Shameless demogoguery. Mindless narcissism. Moral blindness. Willful ignorance. All ingredients for a powerful movement to normalize depravity and equivocate terrorism. I was able to lose myself in the crowd and walk amongst the Hamas followers. It was a surreal scene where hysteria reddened the eyes of the faithful like a bottle of cheap booze on an empty stomach. They were hungry for the red meat of vengeance, though it was evident that the one thing they lacked was strength – the kind of strength that comes with confidence. The support they have around the world comes from dregs like themselves, and today, shrill voices raised in desparation, earned them no more.

There weren’t many Israel supporters, but this is the man we saw first and joined.
Then again, Israel was well represented!
In solidarity with terrorist sympathizers were masked Mayan dancers with walnuts on their ankles.

It’s not an Arab protest without the fake coffins. In fact, it’s not an Arab protest without the fake corpse, either!
All dressed up for peace!
When terrorist supporters demand freedom, I ask: what will you do with it?
The march started with grim faces. I never did find out who won the Arafat look-alike contest.
It’s slow going when you’ve got to tote coffins.
The march was expertly organized by professional community activists. I expect our government will be likewise.
A plea to Obama! When Barack takes him middle name to the Middle East, peace will reign!

Gaza has had enough!
There are few things as torturous as listening to Muslim women shriek all day. I can see why they’re men are fighting to get into Guantanamo.

A man holds up a post in memorium of all the Hamas terrorists that have been sent to Allah. At least I think that was his intention!
The Nazi comparisons were ubiquitous, without the slightest hint of irony that they are the ones cheering on the murder of Jews worldwide! Ah, blessed ignorance!
The tail end of the march made it impossible to the difference between the horseshit and the bullshit we saw so much of today.
Today at noon in the same place as the pro-Hamas rally will be the pro-Israel rally, and I hope it is jam-packed with supporters. There is really a stark difference between the two camps in this war. The Palestinian supporters, as seen at Saturday’s protest, don’t want peace, they want vengeance, they believe the Jews deserve to die like the pigs and apes they deem them to be. You can’t grow peace in a garden like that. But the Israeli supporters have always wanted peace – they are the only ones in the long ranging debate that have ever given up anything for promises of peace. That has been used against them, as a sign of weakness and as a launching pad for rockets to rain down on Israel’s citizens. Those are the facts, and it will take more than a prayer to find peace in the Middle East.

I enjoyed listening live with you guys spread out. I was great to hear what was going on at different places and how the police had to deal to keep the peace.

It is refreshing to see things from the right perspective(ie…you guys)that hopefully will expose these terriorists/communist traders living inside our frekkin country. I don’t understand all the anti Israeli protests.
Hamas WANTED a war with Israel and now that they have it they refuse to come out and play.

I was at the same pro-Palestine rally on Saturday. I witnessed the two arrests that were made.
We probably saw each other during the march at some point. To bad we didn’t know each other. Would have been good to coordinate. This post is pretty much what I saw.

Nunya – you put it right, and it’s odd to me that the protesters are so shocked that they’re getting their asses handed to them right now in Gaza. If you throw stones at a person with a gun, sooner or later you’ll catch a bullet. Lob a homemade rocket, you’ll get a tank parked on your lawn. Any questions?
Indigo – that is a shame. We will coordinate for the next one. At the rate this war is going, the protesters have about another week to start marching again before it’s all over!

The picture of Shane with his Infidel shirt on, standing in front of the terrorist supporting mini Hitlers is a classic to be sure.
“Great” pics Shane. Do these people even KNOW who it is they are supporting or is it because ANSWER tells them to support Hamas, they just do their bidding?

Thank you for doing this. I havent got the money to go to the local rallies near me, each is a 2 hour drive and I am collecting disability, so money is tight. But thank you. As Bibi says: take away Hamas guns, you have peace. Take away Israel guns, you have no Israel

Shane, It was a pleasure meeting you and now it is even a greater pleasure to be able to call you a friend.
What amazed me is the total deception that fills these peoples lives and minds. In spite of the obvious fact that Hamas started this current round of war they blame Israel?
Now that is the epitome of being deceived.
It was nice to see the Che, Fidel and Mao butt lickers out there. Now if we could talk them into taking their protest on tour to Iran we could get some real good pics.

To Faz, if you want to make a point or have an argument then put you views up on this forum instead of going for the low approach of calling me “scum”. Can you do that, are you capable of putting forth a reasonable argument on why Israel should NOT fiight terror? Or do you indeed, as we all suspect, support radical Islamic terrorism? Make your choice but be clear, are you supporting terror (HAMAS) or not?
