Your mouth is not only an organ; instead it is a mini organ system that consists of such organs which are responsible for half of the digestion.

  1. Teeth: It is an essential part of your mouth which is responsible for 50 percent of digestion because of their function of cutting and tearing food. There are four kinds of teeth: incisors, canines, premolars and molars. Incisors are in front of your lips which are followed by other three on each side. There are 32 teeth in mouth, on total which are arranged in 2 sets. The teeth are not only essential because of its functions but they are the beauty part of your mouth as well.  Your smile for which you visit different clinics to keep it attractive depend on whiteness and shape of your strong organ’s enamel and lips.
  2. Jaws: A jaw is a part of teeth that holds each set on its place. It gives shape to your mouth and skull. Absence of fat make the line where jaws lie more important  (sharp jawline). It is also a strong part of mouth but patients, who go for , are asked to brush slowly to keep their jaws strong and away from damage. Besides this, they are advised different tips and techniques to keep their jaws firm. Doctors and dieticians advise them different fruits,  as well,  to eat.
  3. Gums: It is a soft part of teeth. Each tooth is hold by gums. They as sensitive to hot and cold. That’s why patients are advised to have Luke warm water and less ice-cream in regular life. Doctors advise them to have green leafy vegetables, crunchy fruits and milk in their daily diet to make their gums strong. They are advised to have nuts and cheese regularly to incorporate good bacteria in their mouth more. They are told different tips regarding brushing teeth to strengthen them.
  4. Saliva: It is a watery secretion from the glands in the mouth. It is responsible to assist teeth in digestion by breaking the compounds of food chemically. It is made up of water and several enzymes that are tasked to break compounds.

Tongue: It is fleshy and slippery organ which you cannot hold. It is tasked to assist you in speech and pushing the food or broken food, mixed with saliva, in gut.
