True Depravity: A Guide Post

So often we hear from the left that America shares a moral equivalence with the worst of nations – “we’re the only industrialized nation without universal healthcare” or “America ranks near the bottom in infant mortality.” How about the “We’re one of the last nations to practice capital punishment.” We must be monsters. I guess when you’ve seen one horrendous ogre, you start seeing them all over the place. Here’s a reality check for those that think there’s no difference this country and any run of the mill despotic regime – from Faustasblog.com:
Fausta then snips an example for us:
Sometimes, especially now, we start seeing scary things everywhere we look. President Barack Obama has been the topic and the inspiration for a lot of home grown fear since he was inaugurated. It’s important that we know nationalized evil when shows itself. I do agree that we are becoming more fascistic (government control of private business rather than owning the means of production), but it doesn’t take democide to centralize power (but it’s a natural consequence if the nation has any pride left at all…). Exit question: is China’s example of total moral corruption a byproduct of it’s collectivist mentality or simply more proof that man is inherently evil?
