Liberal Intolerance #101 & 102: Rosanne Barr First Goes On The Attack Against People Of Faith Over Prop 8, Now It’s The Bigoted Black Community

Her first tiraid comes comes in a post she wrote on her blog on Nov. 6th where she rails against Mormons, Catholics and Jews, saying in essence that they should be stripped of their tax exemption status for daring to practice their rights of free speech…

They have crossed the line between church and state and it will be the issue of gay marriage which they so fiercely oppose (as they oppose women’s rights and the rights of child sex abuse victims with their fake pro-family bullcrap legislations) that will reclassify this “church” as the political action committee that it is, and therefore make it ineligible for tax exempt status! they intend the complete overthrow of the us government. they intend to destroy civil liberties and institute taliban like polygamy and child marriage. They hate our country, and want to destroy it’s constitution. This they do while paying not one cent for the firemen the police the teachers the roads the parks, the hospitals. they build their own infrastructure with your tax money. The old women are encouraged to be self righteous haters of young women, and to demand forced pregnancies as a tactic of control for young girls who are traded like cattle and increasingly these days, not even given birth certificates! Listen up liars thieves whores and satan worshipping anti-christ- you are going to burn in hellfire and damnation unless you repent of your evil sins and choose ye this day to harken unto TRUTH!!! the truth is the truth and there is no higher truth than truth! this is the truth…

catholic church is a PAC as well-actively campaigning against the constitutional rights of birth control for women, and against child sexual abuse victims being allowed the right to sue their molesters. the pope okayed a new law that adds a statute of limitations that prevent adult victims from the ability to sue the priests that molested them.

the jewish religion is a PAC for aipac.

let’s give all of that money to the children of america who are sleeping under bridges tonight, and sifting through landfills in pine ridge for wood to burn for warmth. hypocrites are going down fast now-the tipping point has been reached, hoarders!

She now follows that up with a post taking potshots at the black community for their support of prop 8, in particular she takes aim at black churches and what she calls hateful black pastors…

who voted this cycle voted for prop 8. As they overwhelmingly supported America’s first chance to elect a person of color and strike a death blow to racism, they also went out of their way to misuse their votes (no doubt at the behest of their immoral and hateful pastors and clergy) to isolate and punish a small minority of citizens, and to deny them basic civil rights. They voted to deny over 70,000 californian children coverage of the insurance benefits of their gay parents. They voted to destroy the constitution that Obama will hopefully uphold against their wishes, by making sure that church and state remain separated. They voted to “uphold the sanctity of marriage” by making a mockery of it. They showed themselves every inch as bigoted and ignorant as their white christian right wing counterpartners who voted for mccain-palin and bush-cheney.


When i suggested a couple of years ago that gay organizations should build official bridges with african american organizations, in order to build political consensus and not just represent a purely gay agenda, this very vote is what I was trying to speak to.
The gay community needs to do outreach to the black and latino christian and immigrant communities.

We should all be outraged at such exhibitionist ignorance! But then again, it’s only Rosanne Barr… we’re not talking about the sharpest tool in the shed!
