Left-Wing Anti-Americanism # 16: DNC Strategist Jane Flemming

Written by: Uncle Seth The Noble on Saturday, April 7th, 2007

Generally speaking, I am not the biggest John McCain fan, in fact I flat out do not like the man after abridging America’s right to freedom of speech with his campaign finance legislation and his opposition to tax cuts. However, Democratic Strategists Jane Flemming’s assertion that the Arizona Senator is to blame for an attack at a Iraq market place because he showed up there is absolutely disgraceful. Why is it that those on the left have such a difficult time in blaming the true culprits when a crime is committed? Here is her statement last night on Hannity and Colmes…

“McCain took a hundred of our soldiers, who should have been doing their normal duty, to tour a marketplace. A CIA agent went on that day and said what he did was wrong because he was sure that those people who were shown in the marketplace would be targeted and killed and that is exactly what happened. Twenty-one unintelligible were killed on the hands of John McCain.”

Check out the video…and also take a close listen as to how both Alan Colmes and Jane Flemming give the benefit of the doubt to the Iranians and not the American troops concerning the British hostage situation…

LOL, there is nothing more amusing than seeing Republicans cry and whine about something being said by someone who is only on television for their entertainment. Fox News is pure Republican trash, it’s guest list is overwhelmingly Republican, it only allows Republicans to host their commentary programs and all but one of their overall programs (Susteren is the only Dem with a show, and naturally her mouth is perpetually kept shut on politics), its panels are overwhelmingly Republican and it only hires pathetic, kneejerk Dems like Colmes to make asses of themselves so they can pretend they’re fair and balanced.

And so another pathetic Fox News Democrat goes and says something stupid, and Republicans are up in arms about it? That’s like getting mad that your little pet monkey, who you bought for entertainment purposes, knocked over a glass of milk. It only exists to entertain you. Flemming and Colmes are not real Democrats, and neither are people like Tammy Bruce or Pat Caddell.

It’s pathetic to see that you actually get angry at dumb things said by people hired by members of your own party to entertain you.

Ahh, Yes? The old ‘they are not real libs because they came on the Fox network’ excuse. I’m sure in your tortured mind John Edwards is the real hero for standing against the evil empire known as Fox News by not showing! You see friend, if those of you on the left were truly courageous, you would be the first to walk into the belly of the beast. Can you imagine the courage of a Democrat that actually stood toe to toe with Sith Lord Hannity asking the questions? But of course that will never happen because the left has no intellectual recourse on any of the major issues of our time…only tired old Socialist solutions that they look to mask from the public.

Yet, Republicans for generations had the courage to walk into the studios of CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC and even PBS! Those on the right did not cowardly run at the sight of unfriendly news networks like the left does (though I am not as convinced as you are on the ideological bias of Fox). For years Bob Novak sat in the studios of CNN only to get ambushed by panels that had 3 liberals for every 1 conservative. The left should not run from Fox, but have the courage to show the world why they stand for truth and why the right is wrong..and no better place to start than the ‘Fair and Balanced’ network.

You forget, Uncle Seth: these people are so far to the left (read: Socialist) that for them, even left-leaning networks are still “biased” towards conservatism. That’s why they despise Fox: not only is the reporting noticeably more accurate and balanced than any other major news network, but it also confirms the obvious leftward bias of those networks. People like Tom hate Fox because it exposes them for what they really are.

Iconoclast,

Well said!

“But of course that will never happen because the left has no intellectual recourse on any of the major issues of our time”

Pathetic generalizations. Nowhere did you actually address the argument, you dodged it once more.

Alan Colmes is not a real Democrat. Bob Novak is a real Republican. There’s the key difference. Tammy Bruce, for example, votes Republican, and is pro-death penalty, anti-gun control, opposes embryonic stem cell research, opposes welfare, supports free trade, opposes affirmative action, supports Republican foreign policy, opposes gay marriage, etc…

Yet Fox claims that Bruce is a “democrat” and a “liberal”. Something sincerely makes me doubt Brent Bozell would accept CNN’s claim that a Democrat-voting “conservative Republican” who was pro-choice, anti-Iraq War, pro-gun control, pro-amnesty, pro-affirmative action would be a legitimate person to hire and prop up as a “Conservative Voice” on CNN.

You wouldn’t, and we both know it, so cut the BS already. Alan Colmes is a pathetic kneejerk fool who would claim the sky was red is Hannity said it was blue. And by the way, Sean Hannity SELECTED Colmes to be his opponent.

Gee, I wonder why that is? Perhaps because Hannity is a coward that couldn’t handle an actual liberal to debate, such as an Al Franken, so he picked the most pathetic fool he could find.

Tom,

Do you own a big piece of land some where out in the Midwest? Because only a farmer could knockdown that many scarecrows! So Alan Colmes does not fit your interpretation of a liberal…but you sure as hell could not call him a conservative! I will admit that Alan Colmes looks extremely weak matched-up against Sean Hannity night after night, but that is a testament to Hannity’s skill more then it is Colmes lack of being a liberal. The fact remains, Alan Colmes has taken liberal stances on all major issues since the Fox show began. During the Clinton impeachment era, was Colmes invited to the White House because Democrats felt he was a conservative? Of course not…he defended a disgraced president night after night because his liberal ideology was more important then coming to grip with an injustice.

Also, Sean Hannity a coward?! Now I know your not serious!

Off top of my head…

Charlie Rangel
Jesse Jackson
John Kerry
Al Franken
Terry McCauliffe
Janine Garafalo
Whoopi Goldberg
Bill Maher
Al Sharpton
Head of the new Black Panthers
Cindy Sheehan
Lanny Davis
Dennis Kusinich
Ariana Huffington
The Pro Tookie Williams protesters
Ward Churchill

Shall I go on with the ‘Sean Hannity kicked their ass’ SHORT list?

Or maybe these names are just not liberal enough for you? The only libs that he has not interviewed are those that are to scared to sit down and have a conversation with him…Mrs. and Mr. Clinton come to mind.

Tom Says:

Half of those people aren’t liberal, you fool. The Black Panters has nothing to do with the Democratic Party, Tookie Williams has nothing to do with the Democratic Part, Ward Churchill is an anarchist, not a liberal, Lanny Davis is a conservative DLC Democrat, not a liberal, and Sean Hannity never even debated Al Franken. So I’m curious as to how he “kicked Franken’s ass” if Hannity is too gutless to even allow Franken on Fox News?

By the way, you failed to rebuke half of my points, namely about Fox News LYING about Tammy Bruce’s political affiliation.

Uncle Seth The Noble Says:

Tom,

Maybe I can help you out? I’m going to start sending all my liberal readers to your house for your blessing and approval!

So Tammy Bruce does not fit your template of being a Democrat. If you venture on over to her website, you will see that she is still a registered Democrat. Fox News is not going to report that she is a Republican or Libertarian or even a Green if her registration card has a giant ‘D’ on it. There is a difference between distinguishing between a lie and Tom’s definition of a Democrat. Many would consider Bruce a classical liberal, like a Scoop Jackson or JFK. Just because she has not fully converted to the ideals of the Socialist movement, that the rest of the Democratic Party has fallen prey to, gives you no right to strip her of her party affiliation.

Secondly, A word to the wise. Know what your talking about before you speak! Sean Hannity did indeed debate Al Franken! Hannity actually went into the belly of the beast on Frankens show over at Air America…I’m sure you probably missed it since no radio stations could seem to keep the failed liberal radio venture on the air. You see Tom, that’s the difference between the right and the left…while Edwards runs and hides from Fox News, Hannity stared down Franken’s ugly mug and kicked his ass. I remember it very specifically because his opinion of Franken fell in line with what others (Medved) had to say about the failed talk radio host…”he is not very bright”!
