LeftWing Anit-Americanism # 2: Dixie Chicks Do Not Want To Make Nice

Written by: Uncle Seth The Noble on Monday, June 19th, 2006

As Larry The Cable Guy once said “that little fat one needs to shut up!” in reference to Natalie Maines after her 2003 comments on President Bush.

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the Dixie Chicks are at it again. Just when you thought that they had alienated enough of their fan base, apparently they don’t think so. Natalie “I Hate My Country” Maines rips into country music for its patriotic roots. In an angry outburst at other country singers for what they would consider a lack of support throughout their troubled political ordeal the lead singer complains:

A lot of artists cashed in on being against what we said or what we stood for because that was promoting their career, which was a horrible thing to do,”

With gritted teeth, the unhinged singer continues:

“The entire country may disagree with me, but I don’t understand the necessity for patriotism,”

Seething in rage, she continues to bury herself even further:

“Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country, I don’t see why people care about patriotism.”

Well I think its safe to say that the Dixie Chicks days as a country group is now officially over.
